WOW! Embossing powders

When you speak to most crafters about embossing powders they will probably dismiss it as something that is only used for papercraft, particularly cardmaking and while this may have been true in the past, it certainly isn’t the case any more.

The wonderfully creative people at WOW! have come up with powders, accessories and techniques that really open up this wonderful product to a wide variety of mediums and you can now use them in many different ways, including to create wonderful jewellery, 3D modelling, and much more as you can not only emboss a large number of surfaces including, amongst many others, glass and metal but also melt the powder and pour it into moulds.

There are many different colours and effects available from WOW! including glitters, powders and flocks, and puffs - the powders also come in pastel, pearlescent, metallic, marbled, opaque and glow-in-the-dark shades as well as the more “standard” primary solid colours.

I carry a wide range of this embossing powder and accessories in stock in my shop in Llanrwst and can advise you about different techniques if needed having attended training sessions held by WOW! and also having used the product for several years including having made jewellary with it.
